On the work bench...

Updated: Jan 1, 2019

I have been working on the skinner for some time now. Started with O-1 tool steel (as you can tell that is my favorite for doing #stockremoval knives. Its a great steel that hardens well, holds a great edge after tempering, and is easy to machine/work. It has a 'scorched' maple set of scales with nickel pins and lanyard loop. This knife just feels good in the hand when it's being worked.

The carriage (sheath) for this knife is a soft yet secure piece of premium cowhide. Hand-stitched and form fitted to the knife. A hardened belt clip was sewn in for easy carrying. As always, blades are finished razor sharp and carry a full satisfaction guarantee.
