About Us

Who We Are

For a while, I have wrestled with a name for my knife making adventure. It’s hard because you don’t want to keep changing things up...as I have done. It was really hard to come up with a good logo...you know, something with meaning.
So, more than two decades ago, when my wife and I were ‘courting‘ each other, there was this little thing we did, and still, do to this day! When we were in church, or somewhere else holding hands, I would squeeze her hand three times in a row, this meant “I LOVE YOU“. Yes, I know, seems a little childish. But over the years, this small affirmation of love has touched our hearts immensely. Today, her bible, and mine, and our children’s bibles are all adorned with hundreds of three small dots. Some are next to passages of scripture that has touched our souls. Some on notes of correction to our children to quit wiggling or to look at our pastor while he preaches (just to let them know, that although we are giving correction, it is done “in love“). It’s been used as encouragement through difficult times when words can’t be used, or while driving with my not-so-little girl anymore on a daddy-daughter date.
I also use these three little dots exclusively in posts on social media...in emails...and text messages (did you catch that?). Unfortunately, they don‘t work too good on the phone...lol. While I use these dots frequently, I don’t use them correctly by literary standards. They are called an ellipsis. Which means you are omitting a word or phrase from a sentence. For me, it’s more of a pause in my sentence. It means there is more to come. Whether, “in love“, or “there is more to come“ it has overwhelmingly found its place as the brand for our handmade knives and leather work.
You will always find each knife is carefully and meticulously crafted, with love for the craft and for God, who has made this possible. And by His grace, there will always be more to come. God is good!
